EXHIBITION 

The Galleria SACCHETTI shows for the first time in Switzerland paintings by the Spanish artist Alejandra Atarés. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, widened her knowledge in Bristol and deepened her studies in Art and Design at the Massachusetts College. She began exhibiting her paintings in 2009 and participated in several group shows and four solo shows in Barcelona. Atarés has participated in the art fairs Art Karlsruhe and Art Madrid. During the finissage, the musician Jan Laurenz will perform Spanish guitar music.

EXHIBITION 

The Galleria SACCHETTI shows new sculptures by the Swiss artist Daniel Eggli. He studied at the Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK) in Zurich before beginning his career as a freelance artist in 2001.

„My sculptural works are committed to figuration, whereby individual figures, as well as larger ensembles of figures, are worked out of solid wood with a chainsaw. Stylistically, these works are close to abstract naturalism. In terms of content, they are about the representation of characters which are often ironically overdrawn. The work is always based on the observation of people. The roughness and brittleness of the material, as well as its resistance, are always a challenge when it comes to the depiction of human or animal figures.”

During the vernissage, Daniel Eggli will work life in the courtyard of the Galleria and if desired create a personalized portrait sculpture of you.

EXHIBITION 

The Galleria SACCHETTI presents new works by Annelies Štrba who is an internationally renowned Swiss artist. With the stylistic means of solarization and with digital tools she generates her pictures and video installations. Her works are characterized by through pleasure in optical, acoustic and haptic sensuality, colourfulness and oniric effects. The pictures and videos of Annelies Štrba are shown in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and
museums. They are represented in international collections.
