Christian Verginer I vernissage 13th of July 2019

May 24th, 2019

The Galleria SACCHETTI shows for the first time in Switzerland works by the South Tyrolean Christian Verginer. The artist creates fascinatingly detailed sculptures and relief-like works of limewood. Verginer’s sculptural works are predominantlylife-size representations of people, endowed with different attributes, accentuated by the use of green acrylic paint; some hold an axe or scissors in their hands, others carry a bird’s nest on their shoulders or are stuck with one leg in a flower pot. In an ironic and sometimes provocative way, the sculptor traces the ambivalent relationship between man and nature.

During the vernissage, Bat Battiston will perform music with the guitar (blues).

VERNISSAGE: 13th of July, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, with the presence of the artist
DURATION: from 13th of July until 24th of August

Petra Gabriele Daniel I new paintings

May 2nd, 2019

The Galleria SACCHETTI has new works on display by Petra Gabriele Dannehl, for example the wonderful oil painting Cherry Blossom (2019). The focal point of her work is mankind. The figures in her paintings move between the realms of reality and dream and are defined through a conscious blurring of their attitude and movement in abstract space and context. She has lived and worked for over 30 years as a freelance artist in Germany and Switzerland.
